The Perry Police Department (PPD) is reviewing 20-25 drug cases which may have been affected by the actions of a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) chemist in its Pensacola Regional Crime Laboratory.
PPD Capt. Jamie Cruse said FDLE agents were here Tuesday reviewing the cases, all of which are from the past year, to see if they fit the parameters and if so, the evidence will be re-tested to see if they were affected by the chemist’s actions.
