Missing the festival parade? Join the TCHS Homecoming Parade!

Were you planning to put a float in the Florida Forest Festival King Tree Parade?

The festival may have been canceled, but Taylor County High School (TCHS) is moving forward with celebrating its annual Homecoming with a parade on Friday, Nov. 1.

“Everyone is welcome – TCHS alumni, businesses, Florida Forest Festival kings and queens, vintage cars, TCHS families and generational alumni,” Co-coordinator Mitzi McBride said.

The parade will step off at 10:15 a.m. from the elementary and primary school bus loop, travel up Lafayette Drive and down Jefferson Street, ending at Rosehead Park.

The Homecoming Pep Rally will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m.; the Homecoming game will be held Friday, Nov. 1, at Dorsett Stadium; and the Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, Nov. 2.
