Sandra Kay Bennett Cook

Sandra Kay Bennett Cook, 64, was born Dec. 19, 1959, to the late Virgil Bennett and Kathleen Clayton Bennett. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Taylor County, she graduated from Taylor County High School. She was predeceased by her two children, Cheyenne and Jesse (Josh) Cook. She is survived by one brother, Tommy Bennett from Louisiana, and one uncle, Edmond Clayton of Perry; along with the Dashers, Bennetts and Raines families. Sandra was a clerk at Comcast and was a stayat-home, disabled, brokenhearted woman from the loss of her two children. A celebration of life will be held later for family and friends.
