Deanna Kay Land

Deanna Kay Land, 52, of Perry passed away on Oct. 16, 2024, in Tallahassee, Fla. She is survived by: her daughter, Erica Freeman; her mother, Erma Lee; sister, Amy Land Cope; brother, Dean “Deano” Land Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Dean Howard Land. She had a green thumb and loved tending to her plants. She continued her father’s legacy in having a keen eye for searching and spotting arrowheads, and displayed a tender heart when it came to caring for kittens in need of a loving home. Immediate family and friends will gather for a private “Celebration of Life” service at a later date.
