    Brailyn Omans named 2024 Florida Forest Festival Queen

    Brailynn Omans (center) was crowned this year’s Miss Florida Forest Festival during ceremonies held Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Taylor County Middle School auditorium. Jayden Mock (left) was named first runner-up and Genevieve Burchett-James (right), second runner-up.

    When organizers of this year’s Miss Florida Forest Festival Pageant selected the theme, “There’s No Place Like Home,” they had no way of knowing just how meaningful the sense of “home” would come to mean for so many in the community this year.
