Geraldine Baker Wilson, 82, passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, in Tallahassee.
She was born March 7, 1942, to Elton and Maebelle Baker in Glennville, Ga.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Thomas M Wilson (TW); one brother, Therman Baker; and one sister, Juanita Godley.
Geraldine is survived by: her five children, Larry Reddish of Valdosta, Ga., and Lisa Ridings, Judy Hill (Link), Janet Oakleaf (Jimmy) and Tommy Wilson (Kristy), all of Perry; eight grandsons, Anthony, Brent, Drew, Bryce, Kaleb, Dylan, Jacob and Colin; six granddaughters, Courtney, Elizabeth, Anna, Rebekah, Trinity and Felicity; and seven great-grandchildren, Jack, Margaret, Adrian, Colton, Kalynn, Brantley and Cody.
Geraldine was a Christian by faith and member of Perry First Church of God for more tha 50 years.
She was active in the church as a Sunday school teacher and with weekly women’s prayer meetings, and Vacation Bible School.
She cleaned the church for more than 45 years and was faithful in supporting her church.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m., at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home with Brother Mike Burke officiating. Interment followed at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
