Local law enforcement officials are praising the actions of Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy Robert Lundy during Wednesday’s shooting at Timberland Ford and also expressing appreciation to outside agencies for providing assistance since the incident.

“The Taylor County Sheriffs Office today is praying for one of our own who yesterday jumped into action here in our hometown,” Sheriff L.E. “Bummy” Williams said during a Thursday afternoon press conference.
