Deputy praised as ‘homegrown hero’

The Steinhatchee community is wrapping its arms around its homegrown hero, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Robert Lundy, who remains in critical condition at an area hospital.

Lundy and his family are well known, and well-liked, in the community, locals said.
