Steinhatchee Thanksgiving Dinner is Nov. 26

Everyone in the community is invited to attend a “Steinhatchee Thanksgiving Dinner” at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Steinhatchee Community Center.

“If there is one positive thing we can take from the tragedy our community has recently faced in Hurricane Helene, it is sticking together and finding a way to rebuild and survive to eventually thrive,” said organizer Anna King.

“I have seen so much love and support, and I want to sit down as an entire community and eat a meal, laugh together, enjoy some music, have the kids do a Thanksgiving play and bring some life back to this community,” King said.

Sowers of the Seed will provide the turkey, and Grammy’s Sweets has donated desserts.

Those who would like to contribute can bring ham, a side dish or dessert.
