Vehicle fire

Taylor County Fire-Rescue responded to a vehicle wreck/fire on O’Steen Road during the early-morning hours of Sunday, Dec. 1. When firetrucks arrived at the scene at 4:43 a.m, they found the vehicle on its side and fully engulfed in flames, but no sign of a driver or any passengers. City and county firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, and wrapped up their duties in less than 30 minutes (by 5:01 a.m.). The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) did not have a report in its records for the fire; the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) did not respond to requests for more information as of press time on Tuesday.
