Brenda Sue Parker, beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Dec. 5, 2024, at the age of 68, in her hometown of Perry.

Born on May 20, 1956, Brenda was a devoted homemaker who filled her life with love and joy, nurturing those around her while creating a warm and welcoming home.

She found true happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending her days outdoors, fishing and caring for her beloved farm animals. Her passion for nature was matched only by her fondness for solving word puzzles and crocheting, activities that brought her solace and satisfaction.

Above all else, Brenda cherished the time she spent with her family, nurturing their bonds and creating memories that will be treasured forever.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Edward Cook; her husband of more than 30 years, Hal W. “Billy” Parker Jr.; her son, Michael Parker; and her daughter, Debra Parker.

She is survived by: her loving mother, Doris Cook; her son, Lucas Parker and his wife, Mindy; her grandson, Roxen; her twin sister, Linda Brown; her sister, Yvonne Morgan; her brother, Earl Cook; and her sister, Sharon Cook/Goff; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Brenda’s spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched and the love she shared.

A private family service is planned for a later date.

Brenda Sue Parker’s kindness, creativity and love for life will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.
