Dylan Chase Spradley

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Dylan Chase Spradley.

Dylan was born on June 21, 2002, and was taken from us way to soon on Dec. 11, 2024, at the age of 22.

He was a loving son and brother. He had an infectious smile and always saw the best in others. He was a simple man with a huge heart. He didn’t have much, but would give you all he had.

Dylan graduated from Taylor County High School in 2021, where he will always be remembered for his kindness and his ability to make his classmates laugh.

He enjoyed tinkering on things, especially his old white Ford truck, and was a collector of misfit tools.

Dylan is survived by: his mother and father, Erinn and Jason Spradley; his brothers, Jaydin Spradley and Austin Pridgeon; and little sister, Addyson Spradley.

He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Cleveland Spradley and Doris Brannen; his maternal grandparents ,Larry and Elaine Pridgeon; and uncle, Heath Pridgeon.

The family received friends on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. in Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship.

His funeral began at 3 p.m., and burial followed in New Hope Cemetery immediately after services at the church.

Although his time with us was brief, he brought immeasurable happiness and light to our lives.

The depth of love we shared will remain in our hearts forever.
