Althea Murray Slaughter

Althea Murray Slaughter, 89, a resident of Columbia, Tenn., died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.

The family received friends Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home, as well as Wednesday, Feb. 5, one hour prior to the service. Services for Althea were held Wednesday, Feb. 5, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Jim Cox officiating and Eddie Rogers leading the singing. Burial followed at Polk Memorial Gardens.
