Deputy remains in ‘stable, but critical condition’ at Shands

Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy Robert Lundy remains in stable, but critical condition after being transferred to Shands Hospital in Gainesville Friday night, Feb. 7, where he underwent additional surgery.

Lundy’s wife, Kelly, posted the following update on her social media account Saturday: “I would like to thank Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) for the wonderful care they gave Robert. Around the clock, non-stop, hardworking nurses and doctors working tirelessly to give him the best care they could. They did a great job and we will forever be grateful to them for saving my husband’s life.
