    Perry Rotary Club awards Lee 2024 ‘Our Hero’ Award

    Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Chief Deputy Buddy Lee (center) was presented the Perry Rotary Club’s 2024 “Our Hero” Award by Club President Dawn Perez (left) during the Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce banquet held Friday evening.

    For his efforts following Hurricane Helene last year, not only helping to coordinate the law enforcement response here, but also the time spent assisting residents locate personal items strewn throughout the coastal marshes by the storm’s floodwaters, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Chief Deputy Buddy Lee was awarded the Perry Rotary Club’s 2024 “Our Hero” Award.
