Lee gets life sentence for murder

Raymond Mark Lee, who admitted under oath to bludgeoning Perry resident Derek Dixon to death with an industrial wrench, was sentenced to life in prison Monday morning, Feb. 17.

The sentencing hearing was held two weeks after a jury found Lee guilty of second degree murder in a case that started with the discovery of Dixon’s body hidden in thick underbrush just off U.S. Highway 98.
