What options does the county have to raise its revenues?

Although Taylor County commissioners have made it clear during their ongoing budget discussions that they want to cut budgets before considering any tax increases or new special assessments, it is possible that additional revenue sources may be required as the board attempts to make up for a $3.3 million loss of revenue due to mill closures and hurricane damage.
