    Aucilla Research Institute offers Taylor students chance to dig up local history

    The Aucilla Research Institute is currently working on a dig at Trelaw Plantation in Jefferson County, and students there have had the opportunity to help excavate and catalog artifacts discovered at the site. Taylor County students have been invited to help with a new dig underway in Madison County.

    Thanks to an invitation from the Aucilla Research Institute (ARI), Taylor County students have an opportunity to not only learn about history, but be a part of it themselves.
