Franklin Delano Jackson With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Franklin Delano Jackson, who departed this life on March 18, 2025, at the age of 90. His philanthropy and blessings were extended to too many charities and people to list, including the Steinhatchee community. Jackson was a partner in developing the Steinhatchee Rivergate and Summer Pointe developments, upscale Cracker-style vacation homes on the Steinhatchee River, a strong supporter of the Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce, and donated significant funds to better the community, including the cost of decorative lights over the Steinhatchee Bridge. Visitation for Frank was held Saturday, March 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel in Sandy Springs, Ga. Funeral services were held immediately following visitation.
