    Christella Bell Williams It is with great sadness the family announces Christella Bell Williams, 89, of Perry peacefully transitioned on Monday, March 17, 2025. She was born on Dec. 25, 1935, to the parents of Richard Sr. and Christella Bell in Wacissa. She was the middle sibling of five children. She gave her life to Christ at a very young age and was a lifetime faithful member of Stewart Memorial AME Church in Perry, and served as a choir member, Trustee and Steward. Christella moved to Perry as a young child and received her education at Jerkins High School. She was later employed with Taylor County Public Schools until her retirement with the State of Florida. Her quiet personality and humble spirit was known by everyone she encountered. She exemplified a beautiful smile with kindness and showed generosity to family, friends and strangers with her humble spirit. Christella leaves to cherish her memories: her four children, Joan D. Bolden of Perry, Dorothy L. Allen (Roderick Sr.) of Tallahassee, Ivory J. Turner (Sandra) of Perry and Shedrick W. Turner Sr. (Norma) of Lithonia, Ga.; grandchildren, Sonya G. Crocker (Johnny), James E. Gillispie Jr. (Lisa), Quana L.A. Gipson (Derrick), Roderick J. Allen Jr., Dr. Kristy G. Orisma (Ronald), Iris D. Turner and Shedrick W. Turner Jr.; great-grandchildren, Raymanda, Roman, Sade, Destiny-Raye, Dariana, Kennedi, Avery and Azariah; great-great-grandchild, Reign; sisters, Willie C. Roberts and Mamie L. Ervin (Moncrief) of Perry; Godson, Tony Gant; nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Christella was preceded in death by: her parents, Richard Bell Sr. and Christella Richardson Bell; brother, Richard Bell Jr.; sister, Juanita Bell Jones; and grandson, Victor L. Allen. A memorial service for Christella will be held Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Rd., Tallahassee. An inurnment following service will occur at MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Rd., Tallahassee, FL 32312.
