Michael T. Blanton, 57, of Whigham, Ga., died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Blanton officiating. Interment followed at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family members received friends from 2:00-3:45 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23, at Ivey Funeral Home, prior to the service.
