Taylor’s unemployment rate still top 2 in state

For 18 straight months since the closure of Georgia-Pacific’s (GP) Foley Cellulose mill in the fall of 2023, Taylor County has ranked as the county having the highest or second-highest unemployment rate in the state of Florida.
