    Louise A. Hill

    It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Louise A. Hill, who left this world on May 31, 2025, at the age of 82. Born Aug. 13, 1942, Louise was an adored member of her family and a beloved friend to many. Her warmth, kindness and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. The bond shared with her family was unbreakable, f illed with laughter, love and countless cherished memories. Louise’s legacy is one of love-a gift that will continue to resonate with those she leaves behind. She loved and worshiped the Lord and enjoyed listening to Christian music. As we reflect on Louise’s life, we remember her enthusiasm for life, her passion for nurturing relationships and her ability to find joy in even the simplest of moments. She was a source of strength and inspiration, touching the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Louise is survived by: her devoted husband of 64 years, Kermit S. Hill; and her beloved children, Stacy Hill and wife, Leslie, of Mobile, Ala., Edward Hill and wife, Lilian, of Fernandina Beach and Dewayne Hill of West Palm Beach. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charlie Maddox, Donnie Maddox, and one sister, Margaret Roberts. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Jeanette Aman of Perry, and two brothers, Travis Maddox and wife, Michele, of Brandon, Ms., and Wayne Maddox and wife Gail, of Branford. A memorial service were held Tuesday, June 3, at Midway Baptist Church (187 E. Roberts Aman Road) at 1 p.m. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Thank you for joining us in remembering her spirit, her laughter and her love. In this time of grief, let us come together to share our memories, to support one another and to celebrate the beautiful life of Louise Hill. She may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts.
