City council awaiting word on state funding requests

Now that Florida lawmakers are finally back in Tallahassee to finalize a proposed state budget, city officials are anxiously awaiting word on if any of their eight legislative appropriations funding requests – totaling $6.34 million – will be funded in the upcoming budget year.
