    Palatka man arrested for smuggling meth following traffic stop

    A joint law enforcement effort — which ended with a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Dollar General Marketplace on Hwy. 221 North on Wednesday, June 11 — led to the arrest of a Palatka man allegedly trafficking 456 grams of methamphetamine while armed with an AR-15 and a 9mm pistol.
