Easy early-season limits!

The 2025 scallop season got underway on Sunday, June 15, off the coast of Taylor County, with most scallopers having no problem gathering their early-season reduced bag limit of one gallon of whole bay scallops in the shell per person. Capt. David Hall of Reel Hard Charters reported sorting through many smaller scallops and still getting a nice limit of larger ones for members of his charter out of Spring Warrior Fish Camp on Sunday.
