The Taylor County High junior varsity baseball team ran its record to 2-0 on the season with recent victories over Mayo and Thomasville.
Against Mayo, the JV Dogs won 5-2 behind the pitching of Zack Fike. Fike threw 5 innings allowing only 2 hits while striking 11 Mayo hitters. Caleb Wentworth came on in relief to close out the game with 2 strikeouts in the last inning.
