Perry man, 27, dies in fiery crash

A Perry man was killed in a Sunday crash in Lafayette County when his semi-truck rolled over and caught fire.

Bobby Lee Omans Jr., 27, was driving a 1999 Western Star semi north on SW FP Folsom Road at 2:45 p.m. when he “failed to properly negotiate a right turn, rolling the loaded semi onto its left side,” according to a report filed by Florida Highway Patrol Cpl. W. J. Berger.
