Family to file $10 million lawsuit in Aucilla bridge construction death

The parents of an 18-year-old Wakulla man killed in a January construction accident at the U.S. 98 Aucilla River bridge in Taylor County have announced their intention to file a $10 million lawsuit against the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the construction company in charge of the work.

David Andrew “Drew” Kimberl was killed Jan. 16 when he was crushed by a steel bridge girder panel during a crane operation at the site.
