Cedar Key attorney and author Pierce Kelley recently spoke at the Taylor County Public Library about his most recent book, “A Deadly Legacy,” a historical fiction novel set among the Osage Tribe of Native Americans. He told those in attendance that he was inspired to write the novel by a Native American friend who is a member of the Osage Tribe. Kelley has written a number of novels, including “Fistfight at the L and M Saloon,” “Bocas del Toro,” “Roxy Blues” and “A Very Fine Line.” The program was hosted by the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library.
