Man dies in Sunday crash

Charges are pending against a local teen involved in a fatal head-on crash Sunday morning, March 16, on C.R. 30.

The 17-year-old, whose identity has not been released by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) due to his age, was eastbound on the two-lane road when he traveled over the center line and collided with a 1986 Ford F-150 truck driven by Wayne Gregory Dean, 56, also of Perry.
