FDLE grant gives PPD new drone capabilities

Thanks to a $25,000 state grant, the Perry Police Department (PPD) now has a new drone program that provides officers with an “eye in the sky” to allow for enhanced search and rescue capabilities, improved officer safety and better situational awareness in emergency situations.
