The song has ended, but her melody will live on. It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jacquelyn Denise Sneed, who departed this life to be present with the Lord on Dec. 16, 2025 in Tallahassee. Born on Nov. 21, 1960, in Dade County, Jacquelyn brought love, support and laughter to those who really knew her. Jacquelyn Denise Sneed Jacquelyn wholeheartedly loved and lived life boldly, sharing her warm smile, lively personality, her intelligence and her compassion. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 11 a.m. to noon (memorial) and noon-2 p.m. for family and friends at Jerkins Community Center in Perry. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jacquelyn’s life, share memories and to honor her legacy and time shared with her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Lung Association memory. Jacquelyn will her truly be missed; however, 2 Corinthians reminds us that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” We f ind comfort and peace through His reassurance.
