    First Freedom Avenue

    The Taylor County Commission agreed this week to pursue a “memorial designation” for 1st Avenue in
    Steinhatchee as “First Freedom Avenue.” The designation, which will not change residents’ 911 or mailing addresses, was proposed by Commissioner Michael Newman at the board meeting on Monday, Jan. 5.
