Notice is hereby given that the Taylor County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Taylor County Administrative Complex, 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida 32347, to consider an application for SPECIAL EVENT PERMITS (MUD-BOG) to be held on March 5, 2026 – March 8, 2026 & October 8, 2026 – October 11, 2026. The event will be held at the Iron Horse Mud Ranch site located at 8999 S. US 19, Perry, Florida.
The application is available to the public and may be inspected at the Taylor County Planning Department, located at the Administrative Complex (Old Post Office), 201 E. Green Street, Perry, Florida 3234 7.
Notice is further given, pursuant to Florida Statutes 286.0105, that any persons deciding to appeal any matter considered at this hearing will need a record of the hearing and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Chapter 373, Florida Statutes, the following application for permit was received on January 5, 2026:
LAZY TORTOISE RANCH LLC, 3733 Strickland Landing Blvd, Perry, FL 32348 has submitted Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) application number ERP-123-253457-1. The project is located in Taylor County, Section 28, Township 6 South, Range 7 East, and includes 16.67 acres of impervious surfaces on a total project area of 337.98 acres.
Interested persons may comment upon the application or submit a written request for a staff report containing proposed agency action regarding the application by writing to the Suwannee River Water Management District, Attn: Resource Management, 9225 C.R. 49, Live Oak, Florida 32060. Such comments or requests must be received by 5:00 PM within 14 days from the date of publication.
No further public notice will be provided regarding this application. A copy of the staff report must be requested in order to remain advised of further proceedings. Substantially affected persons are entitled to request an administrative hearing, pursuant to Title 28, Florida Administrative Code, regarding the proposed agency action by submitting a written request after reviewing the staff report.
