Tree giveaway Jan. 17 at Forest Capital Hall

Taylor County Master Gardener Volunteers have announced the variety of native trees that will be given away during the annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway planned Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Taylor County Extension Office (located at Forest Capital Hall), from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Available trees will include: Chinquapin Chestnut, Red Maple, Mayhaw, Dahoon Holly, Ginkgo, Cherry Laurel, Bald Cyprus and American Elm.
