    City, Chamber awarded $25,000 in grants by Duke Energy Foundation

    Duke Energy’s Government & Community Relations Manager for North Florida Scott Mixon presented a $25,000 check from the Duke Energy Foundation to the City of Perry and Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday to fund city infrastructure repairs ($15,000) and improvements to Forest Capital Park ($10,000).     The Perry City Council received three welcomed bits of “good news” from Duke Energy Government and Community Relations Manager Scott Mixon during the city’s first meeting of 2026 on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
