Several Taylor County rivers were expected to crest late Thursday after rising as much as seven feet this week thanks to heavy rains Sunday and Monday.
According to the National Weather Service, the Steinhatchee River at Tennille was in minor flood stage at 14.1 feet Thursday and was forecast to continue slowly rising before cresting at around 14.4 feet.
