‘King of the Trap’ de-throned

An intense, multi-agency investigation has brought down a drug trafficking organization that distributed millions of dollars worth of powder cocaine and crack throughout the north central panhandle area, including Taylor County.

U.S. Attorney Pamela C. Marsh announced Wednesday the culmination of an organized crime drug task force operation dubbed “King of the Trap” that included the arrest and prosecution of 43 federal defendants—half of whom were Perry residents. (The identities of the defendants were not released.)
