Marilyn Jo Rock

Marilyn Jo Rock was born Oct. 3, 1950 in Detroit, Mich., to Joseph Frank Wolak and Catherine H. Wolak. She passed away Feb. 6, 2026, at home in Perry. She is survived by: her husband, Donald Rock; her sister, Irene Roldan; daughter, Sandra “Rock” Johnson and husband, Ronny L.; grandchildren, Jennifer L. Johnson and Christopher W. Johnson and wife, Bekah N.; and three great-grandchildren, Corbin W. Johnson, Addyson M. Johnson and Ellisyn K. Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Catherine H. Wolak, and son; Robert A. Rock. Marilyn was employed in the healthcare system for some 30 years, beginning in Detroit and continuing in Perry at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH), when moving here in 1995 until she retired in 2012. She has made many lasting friendships throughout her life and will be truly missed. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
