County seeks new Keaton canal survey to reduce dredging price

The Taylor County Commission will soon order an updated survey of the Keaton Beach canals to produce a more accurate measure of the amount of sediment that must be removed as part of the county’s planned dredging project in the wake of hurricanes Idalia, Debby and Helene.
