    Florida State Guard helps clean up hurricane debris

    A 10-person Florida State Guard Crisis Response Battalion spent five days clearing storm debris from wooded and marsh areas around Dekle Beach last week, the third such mission in Taylor County since three consecutive hurricanes in a 13-month period in 2023-24.

    Taylor County’s coastal communities continued to receive much-appreciated hurricane debris removal assistance from the Florida State Guard last week.
