Concession proceeds at MoonPie pageant benefit Timberland survivors

2013 MoonPie Princess Holly Gantz will pass on her title at ceremonies planned tonight at Forest Capital Hall.

Some 27 bluegrass sweethearts will compete for the crown at the 2014 MoonPie Princess Pageant, which starts at 6 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults (free for children).

Winners will be special guests at next weekend’s Florida State Bluegrass Festival.

Proceeds from the concessions served at the event will benefit the Timberland Ford Survivors Foundation.
