FDEP public meeting on GP wastewater permit next week

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) will hold a public meeting next week on a draft wastewater permit that would allow Georgia-Pacific (GP) to move the discharge point of the now-closed Foley Cellulose mill’s treated effluent from the end of the pipeline near the mouth of the Fenholloway River back to its original discharge point near the mill site.
