Pre-Prom DUI Crash Demo

Students gathered at Dorsett Stadium Wednesday for a “Prom Promise” staged DUI crash scene that included first responders treating and transporting victims of a two-vehicle crash — including a pedestrian “fatality.” TCHS students posed as “victims” (complete with bloody makeup), as law enforcement, firefighters and EMS crews demonstrated patient triage, extraction from a vehicle, life-flight helicopter transport and the arrest of a drunk driver to warn students of the danger of drunk or distracted driving prior to prom night Saturday.
