County’s 12-month rainfall deficit now tops 20 inches

Taylor County received an average of just over 1 inch of rainfall in March – compared to a historical average of 4.6 inches – as the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) area continues to deal with “exceptional” or “extreme drought” conditions.
