Fire chief declares county-wide burn ban

Less than 48 hours after recommending the county hold off on implementing a county-wide burn ban, Taylor County Fire-Rescue Chief Dan Cassel reversed course and issued a “mandatory burn ban” for all of Taylor County on Thursday morning.
