Correction: Murphy not arrested as part of long-term drug roundup

Due to incorrect information provided by the Perry Police Department (PPD), Joseph Travis Murphy, 51, was inadvertently included in a list of 16 individuals who were arrested as part of comprehensive, long-term narcotics investigation published in the April 24 edition of the Perry News-Herald.
According to corrected information provided by the PPD, Murphy was arrested for violation of probation (VOP) — not drug-related charges — and was accidentally included among the list of 16 subjects served with arrest warrants in connection with an ongoing drug investigation.
