    City opts against cutting off water to apartment complex

    Perry Apartments Village (above) did not have its city water service cut off this week after the property owner began making payments to settle a severely delinquent utility bill with the City of Perry.

    The City of Perry has opted not to proceed with cutting off water service to Perry Apartments Village, based on a recommendation from City Manager John Hart, who stated the owner of the local apartment complex is “making progress” on what was a $15,000 overdue utility bill.
