    County receives $1.3 million from FDOT for McDaniel Rd.

    The McDaniel Road work, which is being funded by the Florida Department of Transportation, will widen and resurface 1.3 miles of the roadway from Wright Road to Pisgah Road from its current 19-20 feet width to 24 feet wide.

    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has provided Taylor County with an additional $1.37 million to fill a funding gap for the planned widening and resurfacing project on McDaniel Road.
